Boston Bruins 2023-24 Season Report Cards: David Pastrnak
June 1, 2024 by Tommy Bennett
The Boston Bruins’ centennial season is officially complete. While it did not net a Stanley Cup Championship and give the Bruins faithful another duckboat parade, the season was not a complete failure. The organization celebrated 100 years of Bruins hockey and even took a trip down memory lane. Several era nights took place at TD Garden, where fans relived the memories of different eras of Bruins hockey.
The Bruins also had another 100-point season and finished second in the Atlantic Division. Now that the season is over, we can reflect on how players performed and give them a grade for the season. Today’s report card will be on superstar forward David Pastrnak.

During a recent interview on the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast, Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak openly expressed his desire for Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl to join the Bruins. The conversation, while light-hearted, highlighted Pastrnak’s enthusiasm for playing alongside Draisaitl, a player he clearly admires. The conversation started when the host asked Pastrnak how the recruiting in Boston was going and when a few names were tossed out, the winger was quick to respond with, “I would love Draisaitl!”

Bruins 2023-24 Player Grades: Jeremy Swayman
May 29, 2024 by Ryan Gagne
Last summer, the Boston Bruins employed the Vezina Trophy winner Linus Ullmark and were taken to arbitration by Jeremy Swayman, who received a $3.475 million one-year contract. At 26, Swayman is one-half of the best tandems in the NHL and is the netminder for the future of the Bruins, who remain Stanley Cup contenders despite winning two playoff series since their run to the Final in 2019.
Bruins Can Maximize Linus Ullmark Return by Trading Him to the Senators

This summer could have some extra fireworks. There are prominent names available via free agency who, if they did switch teams, could shock the league’s landscape. No name is bigger right now than Steven Stamkos, whether he remains in Tampa Bay or not. Also, Jake Guentzel is one of the other big fish on the market, so his market should be heavy. However, it is not just the free agents that people will have eyes on but the trade market.
