March 21, 2024 by Anthony Testaguzza
Over the past few months, the St.Louis Blues have been rearranging their lineup, and as the season comes to a close, many eligible prospects could be called up. Although space on the roster may be an issue, there is room for another prospect.
Blues’ 4-Game Win Streak Keeps Team in the Playoff Race
March 21, 2024 by Ethan Carter
The St. Louis Blues have stuck around in the wild card race of the Western Conference as the season is winding down. A big reason for that is their recent four-game winning streak. Blues’ Armstrong Will Add to His Legacy As Canada’s Olympic GM
March 19, 2024 by Stephen Ground
It’s not a shock, but St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong is set to reprise his role as the GM for Team Canada‘s men in the 2026 Olympics. It’s a role he first occupied in 2022 when his nation surprisingly finished shy of the podium. But then, he was forced to work with a collection of amateurs and former professionals. This time around, the NHL will be sending its best and brightest to the Olympics for the first time since 2014, meaning Armstrong will have his pick of the litter. There’s no question that the Connor McDavids and Nathan MacKinnons of the world will have their place, but could this have ramifications for the current Blues’ roster? In two players’ cases, the answer is probably yes.
3 St. Louis Blues Players GM Doug Armstrong Should Have Kept
March 19, 2024 by Josh Berg
The scrutiny St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong has faced during his tenure with the team has been well documented. After helping build a team that hoisted the franchise’s first-ever Stanley Cup in 2019, the Blues have failed to win more than one round in the playoffs since and are on the verge of missing the playoffs for back-to-back seasons for the first time in more than a decade. A team poised to be a contender in the Western Conference for years to come is now in the midst of a “competitive retool” just five years after emerging as the league’s best. How did the team get here?
