Chicago Blackhawks’ 2023-24 Player Grades: Forwards
April 19, 2024 by Gail Kauchak
The Chicago Blackhawks’ 2023-24 campaign is in the books. Overall, they finished 31th in the NHL, with a record of 23-53-6 for 52 points. Sadly, this was a new record for the most losses in franchise history. But just like last season, we all know it was a rebuilding year with lots of moving parts. The season was obviously much more about development and growth than it was about winning.
Blackhawks: Highs and Lows of the 2023-24 Season
April 19, 2024 by Brooke LoFurno
The 2023-24 season for the Chicago Blackhawks has come to an end, and what a ride it was. There were fun moments, but it was mostly disappointing. They ended up with the second-worst record in the NHL (down 7 points from their 59 points last year), were the lowest-scoring team in franchise history that played 80-plus games, and had too many negative outside factors that made their season even more challenging than expected. However, some aspects, such as rookie Connor Bedard, made the season bearable and kept fans engaged. Without further ado, here is a recap of the Blackhawks’ season.

Blackhawks Weren’t That Bad at Home, Despite Being a Lottery Team
April 16, 2024 by Hunter Crowther
With a 4-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on April 14, the Chicago Blackhawks officially completed the home portion of their 2023-24 season. At the end of the game against the Hurricanes, I started looking through the Blackhawks’ schedule, finding any winning streaks or memorable games. The lack of road wins stood out (going into the April 16 slate of games, they had seven in 39 games), and there were maybe two or three big wins that you saw the box score and thought, “Oh yeah, that WAS a good game!” But when you divide them between home and away, you realize that the spaces between wins were much smaller at home than on the road. Let’s look at the Blackhawks’ home record this season and why it should give fans some as they look towards the 2024-25 campaign.
