Sharks Defeat Blues in Their Best Performance of the Season
November 17, 2023 by William Espy
The San Jose Sharks faced off against the St. Louis Blues during their Hockey Fights Cancer game on Thursday (Nov. 16). They entered the night in the midst of a three-game losing streak while the Blues came in with a three-game winning streak. The Sharks came out on top with a final score of 5-1.
The Sharks got off to a hot start with former Blue Mike Hoffman finding the back of the net roughly two minutes into the game. The team came out with an energy we’ve not seen much of this season, however, like always, the question was whether or not they could sustain it for a full 60 minutes. They were certainly able to do just that, as they jumped out to a 5-0 lead by the end of the second period.
Sharks’ Gushchin Reaches NHL With More Prospects to Follow
November 17, 2023 by William Espy
The San Jose Sharks may not have many big-name prospects currently with the American Hockey League’s San Jose Barracuda. However, they have a few who are certainly exceeding expectations. Today, we’re going to look at how Danil Gushchin earned his opportunity in the NHL and three players who should get an opportunity with the Sharks at some point this season as well.
In order to make it interesting, players who have played in the NHL this season, such as Henry Thrun or the recently reassigned Thomas Bordeleau, will not be included.
