5 Leafs Players That Could Have a Big Playoff Performance
In there eight straight playoff run, these are the players that will shine the most
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been highly unlucky through their last seven playoff performances, but that doesn’t mean their team won’t ever win. This year, they are in their eighth straight playoff run, and compared to franchises around the league and even in other sports, it’s hard to do.
In a more recent period, the Washington Capitals finally won a Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history after making the playoffs for nine out of their last 10 seasons before winning the Cup in 2017-18, and the St. Louis Blues won in 2019 after failing to reach the Stanley Cup Final in 49 years.
Those teams had one thing in common: They had a solid one, two, or even three big players who managed to keep their team at a consistent success level, followed by some great role players.
The Leafs could have the same thing, but it's a matter of who those players will be and when they decide to show up. The players below are the ones to look out for in the upcoming Stanley Cup Playoffs.

It may be his first playoff appearance in the NHL, but Bobby McMann has shown great potential, and this playoff run is the best time to show that he is a lock on the Leafs roster for the next four to five seasons. With only 56 games, he’s accumulated 15 goals and nine assists for 24 points and has 117 hits, finding a way to show he is helpful for a playoff-contending team. His grit and knowledge of getting ready on the wing for a front-lane pass stands out the most about him.
