While the Jets don't have a first-round pick as of now, they can still do well in the second round.

The Winnipeg Jets traded their first-round pick for this season to acquire Sean Monahan, and while it would certainly be nice to have it, they will be able to get a quality player in the second round.

Brian Finlayson of The Hockey Writers recently talked about the recent and past success of the 37th overall pick, and this looks like another year where success is certainly possible with this pick.
