2023 NHL Draft - Day 1

The Hockey Writers' prospects experts Logan Horn and Matthew Zator react to the first round of the 2023 NHL Draft which saw Connor Bedard (Blackhawks), Leo Carlsson (Ducks) and Adam Fantilli (Blue Jackets) go first, second and third overall respectively. They also discuss some surprising risers, favorite picks and the big talent still left over for the second round along with the Detroit Red Wings' selections of Nate Danielson and Axel Sandin Pellikka at 9th and 17th overall respectively, and the Vancouver Canucks' pick of Tom Willander at 11.
