Assessing the Seattle Kraken’s 2024 Draft Picks
July 1, 2024 by Edgar Chaput
The 2024 NHL Draft is behind us. Seattle Kraken Draft Julius Miettinen 40th Overall
June 29, 2024 by Matthew Zator
Julius Miettinen’s biggest strengths are his size and skating. With those two skills in his arsenal, he dominates in front of the net and on the forecheck, making it difficult for defenders to contain him. Like most Finnish forwards, hard work is also part of his DNA, as he creates chaos along the boards and in the crease on a regular basis.

Seattle Kraken Draft Berkly Catton 8th Overall
June 28, 2024 by Justin Giampietro
Though especially undersized for a center at 5-foot-11 and 163 pounds, Berkly Catton has all of the upside to make up for it. He is one of the most cerebral players in the 2024 class, which is an exciting factor in his game. He’s an all-around force, and coupling that with a dangerously high IQ makes for a sensational prospect.
